On behalf of Business Manager Kelsey Thompson and Business Adviser Candy Heckard, I'd like to welcome you to the Daily Collegian Mentoring Blog (DCMB for "short").

Back in September, the three of us had a phone conversation. We wanted to start a program that could bring current and former staffers together; something that students could benefit from as members of the Collegian while offering alumni a way to give something back to the publication. After a few minutes of discussion the solution was very clear: Mentoring.
